Why do I cry after orgasm?
Whenever I have an orgasm with my
husband, I start crying. Can you explain this? I'm not in pain. The orgasm
feels good, but I actually cry, tears and all.
A: I don't think there is any medical
literature that exists with this, but I'll pass something on to you, just
as a human being. I guess I could say I've seen this before, and, you
know, it wasn't in a pathology laboratory.
I think it's a wonderful, positive emotional thing. Look what crying is.
Crying is something we do when we're very sad, obviously. But crying is
something we do when we're ecstatic and we're happy.
And if you think of all the variety of emotions that can induce tears to
our eyes ... you think about it. It's strange, isn't it? You see your
child do something wonderful; you feel proud. To be overwhelmed by an
experience, almost any kind of an experience, just be overwhelmed, and
you'll cry.
And I assume that this is a good sign, that you're overwhelmed by your
orgasms, which is the way that it ought to be.
