Is cycling really linked to impotence?

I recently read a series of articles in the newspaper about bicycling and male impotence. I was planning to take up the sport; now I'm not so sure.

A: Dr. Dean: Yeah, that's a little bit of a disincentive, isn't it? This is a real problem. With frequent riding, both male and female cyclists suffer pain and numbness in the groin, and some male cyclists become impotent.

In his research at Stanford Medical Center, urologist Robert Kessler found that a specially-designed bicycle seat relieved symptoms and "reversed erectile dysfunction."

The seat, manufactured by Specialized Bikes, is called the "Body Geometry Seat." I recommend it. You may as well have everything working to your advantage.
